    Juvenile Assessment Center Assured Family Services Parent Education Program Program Objective To identify and build on family strengths so that the parent is empowered to protect and nurture their children, and to build resiliency in the family unit. Family Care Network provides a comprehensive in-home or group 14 week parent education program for the parents who live in Wayne County, Michigan. The program addresses effective parenting strategies, age-appropriate expectations and building a safe and nurturing home. Families are referred by the Wayne County Department of Health and Human Services, private foster care agencies and the Wayne County Court System During the fiscal year of October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023 approximately 848 families with children were served.
