Vulcan Park Educational Programs
Vulcan Park Foundation operates the city-owned Vulcan Park and Museum as a historically significant site with a wealth of educational exhibits and programs for both visitors and area residents. Vulcan has embodied the story of the region and its citizens since his creation in 1904, and brings this story to life through grade-specific field trips, outreach programs and adult "edu-tainment" programs. A landmark tourist attraction since the 1930s, and home of the Convention and Visitors Bureau's visitor information center, visitors learn of the region's diverse history and culture, and are encouraged to explore the area's many other cultural and natural assets. Organizer of key community events such as the state's largest July 4th fireworks celebration, Vulcan serves as the community's enduring and unifying symbol.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2023 – Jun 30, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.7MProgram 1 [2025]
