    The Youth Empowerment After School and Summer Camp Program provided 69 elementary school boys and girls, between the ages of 5-10, year round opportunities to build literacy, fitness, and art and social skills. As a result, 90 of participants demonstrated positive social emotional learning skills, 65 improved fitness stamina and 47 improved oral readinig fluencey despite programmatice disruptions due to the COVID-19 health pandemic.

  • Youth Media Arts Education Program

    Year-round during out-of-school time, URGENT provided over 250 children and youth access, opportunities, and resources to nurture their talents, enhance their skills, and develop their abilities. This was achieved through our comprehensive media arts education programs, which are designed to empower youth with creativity, critical life skills, and pathways to future career success.

  • Program 1 [2025]

    Creative Learning Youth Development Elementary and Middle SchoolURGENT, Inc. provided culturally responsive, project-based creative learning opportunities for elementary and middle school youth through afterschool and summer programs focused on storytelling, media arts, and creative expression. These programs emphasize voice, belonging, collaboration, and foundational creative skills. During the year, URGENT served 116 youth across 6 Miami program locations. Participants produced original creative work and demonstrated increased engagement, confidence, and participation in collaborative projects, as measured through attendance records, expo events, and participant reflections.
