    Educating policy makers on the importance of oceans and coasts to Floridas environment and economy by participating in Oceans Day in Tallahassee and hosting a meeting with key stakeholders in state government. Florida Ocean Alliance successfully developed more social media presence and a platform to share environmental and ocean economy issues and increase the publics understanding of Floridas environment and ocean economy.

  • Strategic Policy Planning for Oceans

    Implementing a strategic policy plan for Floridas oceans and coasts by hosting strategy and leadership meetings. Florida Ocean Alliance charted its focus for the coming year including increasing membership, legislative initiatives and partnerships. As part of our mission the Alliance provides avenues to address both environmental and economic issues to ensure that Florida preserves its oceans and coasts while continuing to expand its ocean economy.
