#1 TEACHER RESOURCES: Distribution of an educational newspaper supplement for students in gr ades 3-8, "What's Growin' On?". The supplement was distributed to teac hers in California and inserted into multiple newspaper subscriptions. Readership was nearly one million. Three new resources were researched developed and distributed. Taste & Teach program distributed a binder with lesson plans to 350 teachers. #2 TEACHER COMMUNICATIONS: New resources on website, Outstanding Educator program, and monthly e- newsletter for teachers "Cream of the Crop." The Outstanding Educator program includes Literacy for Life grants to schools/teachers for ag education in the classrooms.
