  • Adopt A Family Assistance Program

    The mission of Adopt A Family of Marin is to prevent homelessness and provide stability for families in need of assistance. Adopt A Family provides financial assistance and case management support to low income families all over Marin County. Our clients include families with children under the age of 18. We provide financial assistance for rent, security deposits, food, utilities, safety-related car repair and credit repair. We determine the type, level and extent of financial assistance through assessment, case management and appropriate information and referral. Parents meet with Adopt A Family case managers prior to assistance determination,either in the office, in home visits, or over the telephone. All financial assistance is paid directly to the service providers and not to the clients.
