    The Tiburon Thrift Shop was formed by 5 charitable organizations located in the Tiburon community over 60 years ago. The 5 charitable organizations consist of 4 churches and a landmarks society. Volunteers from the 5 organizations work at the shop, which is a retail store which receives donations of clothing, jewelry and household items from the public. The net proceeds from the sales at the shop are distributed to the 5 organizations, equally. Distributions totalling $60,000 (or $12,000 to each organization) were given in 2021.
