Application format and required materials

Bay Area Barns and Trails (BABT) provides technical and financial assistance to equestrians, public and private landowners, trails associations, and community groups working together to preserve San Francisco Bay Area equestrian stables, pastures, trails, and horse camps. BABT invites equestrians to submit funding requests for stewardship projects which will enhance equestrian trails, stables, pastures, and staging areas located in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, or Sonoma Counties. Preference will be given to a trail, stable, pasture, staging area or horsecamp near a creek, lake, reservoir, bay, or estuary ecosystem. Recipients will be asked to submit a report within one year documenting how monies were used and with what result. Grant seekers should contact the Organization by email to request a grant application.

Submission deadlines
Applications are due prior to March 1 and August 1.
Any restrictions or limitations on awards, such as by geographical areas, charitable fields, or kinds of institutions
