    Imagine You is the primary program of IMCF. Imagine You offers a toolbox of skills for people to use on their path to the best health and wellbeing. Imagine You defines health as your ability and readiness to do what matters most to you. The program trains professional and paraprofessional staff of community organizations to support their clients to reach their own goals.

  • Program 2 [2020]

    Trainings were offered to staff from organizations such as Red Cross, Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa, CA H.O.P.E Crisis Counselors and Mendocino County Health & Human services. The trainings addressed self-care and wellbeing in the long-term disaster recovery process. The program succesfully developed and shared with other agencies a 10-module 'Imagine You' curriculum that demonstrated how to improve self-efficacy, and promote resilience in the face of adversity while providing assistance to others during disasters. other curriculums developed during the year included (I) Train-the-Trainer to increase capacity for organization growth materials were in English and Spanish; (II) Preparedness 101 created in colloboration with Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa.

  • Imagine You Program

    Imagine You is the primary program of IMCF. Imagine You offers a highly engaging program of trauma-informed skills training and support to social services providers, and second responders working in disaster response, recovery, and preparedness. The Imagine You training curriculum has two main goals: 1.To provide skills to help staff with client support and offer skillful ways to move clients forward.2.To provide staff with tools to boost their own resilience and mitigate the vicarious trauma they experience working with vulnerable populations.In 2022 Imagine You provided ten professional training series to Disaster Case Managers, Second Responders, Community Health Workers/Promoters, Resource Navigators and allied social services staff in Santa Cruz, Greenville, Chico, Fresno, Redding, Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, California. IMCF is actively involved in Long-term Recovery Groups for the fire and flood impacted counties of Siskiyou, Trinity, Shasta, Santa Cruz, Butte, El Dorado, Plumas, and Trinity, and the Marshall Fire impacted county of Boulder, Colorado.
