  • Animal Aid Hospital and Rescue Service

    Animal Aid Unlimited enables the work of the Animal Aid hospital and rescue service in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India as the region's only hospital and rescue center for street animals.Our helpline received 36,796 calls for rescue requests, an average of 101 calls per day. We rescued 16,765 ownerless animals from Udaipur and nearby villages. We admitted 11,797 animals into our hospital for treatment: 9,277 dogs and puppies; 948 cows and bulls and 1,572 donkeys, cats and other animals. We vaccinated every animal admitted against rabies and other common diseases. We completed 8,087 on site visits to provide medical treatment to animals in their neighbourhoods. We spayed / neutered 2,779 animals (more than double than in 2022). After the pandemic, the flow of visitors and volunteers has started increasing again.
