  • Continuing Education in Government

    Provided two conferences and one winter workshop to over 750 participants. Also provided pre-conference workshops at the spring and fall conferences on government-related topics. Conference and workshops provided affordable and relevant continuing education in government accounting financial reporting and compliance. One grant of $500 was awarded to a member enrolled in a related degree program at a Louisiana university. Recipients are selected based on career plans academic record and experience previous coursework and present plan of study and grade point average.
