ABCT Teen Talk TV Program
The Anthony Bean Community Theater (ABCT) has had a profound impact on the community through its various initiatives and programs. Here are some key aspects of ABCT's community impact: Youth Engagement: ABCT has successfully launched the ABCT Teen Talk TV program, which has aired multiple episodes on My54-WUPL TV. This program empowers teenagers to discuss essential topics, including mental health, social justice, career guidance, art and culture, and personal development. Promoting Mental Health Awareness: Episodes of ABCT Teen Talk TV emphasize the importance of mental health, offer coping strategies, and highlight resources available to teenagers. Advocating for Social Justice: The program includes discussions on social justice issues, including racial equality, activism, and the impact of social movements. Career Guidance: ABCT offers insights into various career paths, provides job interview tips, and offers guidance on pursuing higher education. In our afterschool program, students got help with age-appropriate homework from their home base school, where Self-confidence was encouraged using Introduction to acting classes while developing stage presence. Math, English, creative writing, improvisation, auditioning, public speaking, voice and movement, monologue and scene Study, commercial work, and camera technique are all taught in this After school program. This program is perfect for students in training to become the next big name in Hollywood and keep their grades up in school. The program will give students the helping hand they need to stay on task in the classroom and their community. It will provide parents with comfort in knowing their child is getting the help they need and a chance to excel in and out of the classroom. Finally, Anthony Bean Community Theater (ABCT) met the needs of individuals seeking to learn the art of acting, set design, and theater management. In recent years, ABCT has become a vehicle to enter New Orleans's booming "Hollywood South" film industry.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$65K
