The CCL focuses on improving quality of life for senior citizens in SW Oklahoma. The CCL offers programs to teach & encourage physical wellness, nutrition & diet; emotional/social wellness; and intellectual wellness. Without the CCL there would be increased rates of isolation, depression, injury, illness, and early death among our senior citizens. CCL is a critical component in the aging continuum of care and fills an important need for senior citizens. Active, healthy aging not only benefits individuals, but communities as well. Active seniors are more engaged, volunteer more, and generally add value to the overall fabric of a thriving community.The CCL serves almost 6,000 senior citizens in SW Oklahoma. The senior nutrition program was designed to help seniors learn about nutrition and provide a nutritious, healthy meals at least three days a week.
