  • Community Dance Events

    Dances - We offered twice monthly Saturday evening dances in 2023 which were widely publicized and open to the public. Dancers of all ages singles couples beginners experienced were welcomed at all dances. Pre-dance lessons were offered as well included in the admission price. The dances featured live music thus supporting many area musicians. Twenty-three Saturday dances were held at Leif Erikson Lodge in Seattle with an average attendance of 75 dancers up from 60 dancers in 2022. This was still well below our pre-Covid-19 average of 116 in 2019.

  • New Year's Eve Dance Camp

    Special Events - Seabeck Dance Camp New Year's Eve -- The Seabeck Dance Camp was very successful over 100 dancers participated in a three-day intensive selection of workshops and dances. Dancers came from throughout the northwest. We are slowing recovering from Covid-19 when 140 dancers attended the 2019 camp. Our NYE dance had 120 dancers attend a local jazz blues band provided the music. The dancers commented on how elegant and nice the evening was.

  • Dance Workshops Expansion

    Workshops were expanded in 2023 of which 33 were offered. These covered a wide variety of dances for beginners as well as advanced dancers. Dancers were able to build their respective skill level which allowed them to better enjoy the Saturday dances.
