  • Skillpoint Alliance Training Program

    Skillpoint Alliance provides life-changing short-term training in high-demand industries in 2022. Skillpoint served 193 students. Prior to class, many students experienced unemployment and underemployment, struggling to provide financial stability for themselves and their families. The graduation rate was 91.7% and the employment rate was 77.6%. Graduates' average wage was $19.22 per hour. Skillpoint trained 104 electrical students, 37 manufacturing students, 27 HVAC students, and 15 plumbing students. Many electrical students enrolled in local apprentice programs after graduation, which allowed them to find full-time jobs and continue their education. Skillpoint also provided basic construction skills to 10 youths who were in the Williamson County Juvenile Service facility.
