In 2022 we helped protect $3 million in Medicaid rebalancing funds in RI to invest in worker training, recruitment and improved wages; promoted increasing Medicaid payments for dental care for low-income older adults to give them better access to oral healthcare; advocated for legislation calling for review of medicaid RI Human Services Department reimbursement rates and minimum hourly wage rates for home care workers.
