  • Library Community Engagement

    7815 patrons visited the library (4758 adults and 3057 children). Over 30,000 E-books, audio books, and videos are available to check out either in person at the library or over the internet through our membership in the Overdrive Consortium. We have 7 regular volunteers who logged 1,559 hours assisting our staff and patrons last year. We had 72 adults and children attend our book sale during the city's annual Fall Fling. 15 adults attended an herb demo we hosted with our local county extension agent.

  • Public Access Services

    We provide 5 computers with internet access to the public for job searches, research and tax forms. We provide free Wifi, print, copy, and fax services. One of our staff is a notary and offers that service as well. Our current website had over 8,500 visitors last year. We also provide family budgeting classes and Medicare information classes.

  • Story Hour and Summer Reading Program

    We host a weekly story hour which includes a craft activity and snack which follows the story theme. We had 505 adults, and 789 children attend these story hours last year. We hosted a summer reading program with 109 adults and 201 children participating. We also hosted the science bus and had 22 adults and 34 children attend.
