Support for Economically Disadvantaged Families
Assist economically disadvantaged individuals and families. Its goal is to enhance the employment marketability of low to moderate income individuals by assisting and encouraging them to achieve greater self sufficiency. The Agency also provides community assistance to individuals and families in need of food and emergency clothing assistance. Provide assistance with food for up to six months for clients in transition. Number of clients served 875. Job readiness services are provided to low and moderate income individuals. This includes a nine week computer training class (Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point). Distribute professional attire for job interviews.
