  • The Cookie Jar Resale Shop

    The Cookie Jar Resale Shop is a fundraiser for Pregnancy Resource Center East. It serves our pregnancy center by allowing clients to purchase clothing, furniture, and other household items using Mommy Dollars that they earn through our Earn While You Learn material assistance program, The Hope Program. It also serves the community of Baytown and surrounding areas offering material assistance to those in need through a voucher program dispensed through several local charitable agencies. All revenue gained by the sale of pre-used clothing and household goods goes to continue the ministry of Pregnancy Resource Center East.

  • Pregnancy Testing and Counseling

    Pregnancy Testing and Counseling is the core program of our ministry. Clients come to us in a pregnancy crisis and receive peer counsel as well as free pregnancy testing with a verification of pregnancy so that they can begin the process of applying for Medicaid and WIC. Additionally those who are eligible according to our Medical Director are given a free ultrasound to get accurate gestational age (find out exactly how far along she is), verify viability of pregnancy (ectopic? no heartbeat? molar pregnancy?), to confirm if multiple gestation (twin? or triplet?).
