COMMUNITY ORGANIZING & LEADERSHIP TRAINING DURING 2024, GLAHR ORGANIZED 34 WEEKLY HYBRID COMMUNITY MEETINGS AND 7 WEBINARS WHERE AN AVERAGE OF 65 MEMBERS FROM ATLANTA AND STATE-WIDE GATHERED TO LEARN AND DISCUSS POLICIES SUCH HB1105 AND IFZ [KNOW YOUR RIGHTS]. THERE WERE 27 COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS AND 7 COMMUNITY ORGANIZING MEETINGS WITH MATERIALS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH 10 TABLING EVENTS AND VISITS TO CHURCHES AND COMMUNITY SPACES ACROSS THE STATE. GLAHR HELD ITS 14TH ANNUAL ASAMBLEA POPULAR IN LAGUNA BEACH, FLORIDA IN JULY. AROUND 200 GLAHR MEMBERS, FAMILY, STAFF, AND SUPPORTERS PARTICIPATED IN LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOPS, ARTS AND CULTURAL EVENTS, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING. ACTIVITIES WERE DESIGNED FOR ALL AGE GROUPS.
