  • Nordic Ski Trail Access and Maintenance

    LCNSC provides free public access to groomed Nordic ski trails on USFS land under a cost share agreement with the USFS; this entails operating and maintaining equipment to groom approximately 14K of ski trails. From December through March this activity accommodated over 6300 user days in 2023.

  • Ski Trail Grooming Services

    LCNSC also provides grooming and maintenance of about 4K of ski trails on Helena's municipal golf course when there is sufficient snow to allow for skiing on the golf course. These ski trails are accessible to the general public free of charge.
