Fathers In Tech Workforce Development
Fathers in Tech is primarily funded with a grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - The Fatherhood FIRE grant funds projects that integrate robust economic stability services healthy marriage education, and activities designed to foster responsible parenting. CYEP also serves fathers who are within nine months of release from incarceration and who intend to return to communities and families. Project Success is how we engage with youth to better promote positive youth empowerment and healthy lifestyle choices for students through youth development programs. CYEP wants to ensure we provide our youth training programs that will help them achieve their goals and become successful, productive adults. Fathers in Touch is a program developed to address the problem of the fatherless home epedemic that plagues many communities. The program's core objective is to help develop committed, responsible fathers who establish values for their children and provide nurtuing environments for their families. It is composed of a 12-week parenting class (using the "24/7 dad" curriculum) and includes three supervised visitation activities.
