Program 1 [2020]
Our generally robust conference ministry was severely impacted by COVID in 2020. We hosted our annual Leading Noble Men conference for Pastors and Men's Ministry leaders in January of 2020 with 193 in attendance. We also hosted our first Noble Man conference in Roanoke with 247 from 57 churces in attendance. Our Fredericksburge and Richmond events were transitioned to virtual events but did not attract nearly as much attention as live events. We did not attempt a fall conference in Tidewater and instead began to pilot an abbreviated outdoor event for men that we call the Noble Man Tailgate. We hosted 4 of these in the fall with a total attendance of about 300.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$86.4KProgram 2 [2020]
The unusual circumstances of 2020 created both obstacles and opport- unities for our ministry. Without conferences to give visibility and exposure, we were able to allocate resources to launching The Noble Man Podcast in April 2020. We posted weekly podcasts featuring con- versations with men and men's ministry leaders from across the state and country. Reception has been quite positive. We will continue to invest in this resource into the foreseeable future. With concerns about group events lingering into the Christmas holiday season, we de- emphasized our Manger Build resource and focused on our Dad's Tools resource for an at home experience. 2020 response to this resource was our strongest ever.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$93.5KProgram 3 [2020]
Limits on our in person group gatherings forced us to minimize our Regional Teams gatherings but we were able to offer some training at the statewide level via Zoom. We also maintained contact with regional leaders during regular meetings. Toward the end of 2020, we began to focus on development of our Centurion ministry model that was conceptualized in 2019. Even in the midst of COVID, our focus continues to be on how we can help churches disciple men.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$28.6K
