Vet-to-Vet Support Command Program
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 - Statement of Program Service Accomplishments Vet-to-Vet Support Command, Inc. creates a supportive network for Veterans utilizing lead mentors matched with disabled veterans who are battling mental and behavioral problems such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), depression and anxiety, and/or substance abuse, physical disabilities or homelessness stemming from service-related military missions. Conditions such as these often result in isolation, loneliness, decreased self-esteem lack of coping and social skills and the need for community integration. Networking with veteran service providers in the community and the ongoing engagement with committee and boards within the healthcare environment has, and will always be the core of sustaining referrals and resources for the Vet-to-Vet support Command Program. 2022 Statistics: 211 (unduplicated) veterans were served in 2022 via 9 individual matches and veteran's social groups and special events.
