Folds of Honor, Colorado Patriots Chapter, provided the national organization with grant funds that provided recipients with either higher education scholarships or children's fund scholarships for spouses or dependents of service members killed in action, killed in the line of duty, suffered the loss of a limb, died of any cause while on active duty, or after being classified as having a service-connected disability. Scholarships are used to subsidize the cost of tuition, cost of books, fees of campus room and board, approved education tutoring, and other approved educational expenses.
