InReach App
In May 2022, AsylumConnect officially became InReach. The organization announced a new brand identity, including a new name, logo, homesite, and tech platform. Today, InReach is a trans-led tech nonprofit increasing resource access for the diverse LGBTQ+ community. The free InReach App is the world's first tech platform matching LGBTQ+ people facing persecution or discrimination with safe, independently verified resources. InReach aims to serve as a comprehensive digital one-stop-shop for the intersectional LGBTQ+ community: InReach lists verified services for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees and other immigrants, LGBTQ+ Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) folks, LGBTQ+ youth and caregivers, and more LGBTQ+ communities. During 2022, InReach recorded over 250,000 user sessions as the organization continued to witness increased demand in the face of a record number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced in the U.S. In 2022, all 50 U.S. states and D.C. had verified services listed on InReach and active users searching the platform for safe resources. During 2022, the InReach Junior Board Program raised over $90,000 for the organization and InReach was awarded the 2022 Data for Justice Prize at the World Justice Project's World Justice Challenge in The Hague, Netherlands. The organization's vision is to ensure every LGBTQ+ person has on-demand access to the safe resources they need to thrive.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$217.4K
