  • Shoulders to Stand On

    In partnership with Neenah, Green Bay West and Kaukauna High School, Empowered Tutoring tutors provide 1:1 academic tutoring, ACT test prep assistance, and life skills mentoring to a group of under-served high school students. Tutors are working on campus to provide general math, science and reading assistance as well as STEM subject tutoring (e.g., Chemistry, Algebra II, Pre-calculus, etc.). A second element of the program is mentoring – supporting the students as they develop critical life skills that will allow them to successfully pursue their post-secondary educational dreams.

  • A "Little" Help

    By partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, we are able to help those “littles” who may need extra academic support. Tutors are able to meet at public libraries, in the students’ home, or any safe space that is most convenient for the family.

  • Bridging the Gap

    In partnership with the YMCA, we have joined students at the Johnston, Jefferson, Richmond, Dunlap, Franklin and McKinley Elementary Schools’ after school programs to bridge the gap. This allows students extra one-on-one attention that is necessary for students to be able to digest material at their own pace. Our tutors can customize their teaching approach to assist our students to become grade-level proficient and well prepared for their academic journeys. Together, we can empower students through education and provide them with the resources to be successful in the classroom and in the real world.
