Tree-Ring Society Conference Support
The Tree-Ring Society offers financial support to conferences such as WorldDendro, and African Field School. This support provides conference facilities and general expenses to hold lectures, classes and field learning opportunities for scientists to learn from in the field of dendrochronology. The Tree-Ring Society publishes a bi-annual journal, Tree-Ring Research in which valuable articles serve as education and learning opportunities to support the field of tree-ring dating (dendrochronology). The Tree-Ring Society holds an annual week-long school in varying different locations in which students and scientists participate in a variety of lectures, labs and field opportunities to learn and expand their knowledge in the field of Dendrochronology. It is a hands-on education which provides lodging, transportation, food, all eductional materials and equipment to use during the school.
