The Bridge Center for Hope was formed to create and manage programs for people with mental illness and substance use challenges in East Baton Rouge Parish. The Bridge Center's purpose is to operate a mental health and substance use treatment center that would allow citizens and first responders the opportunity to divert people with behavioral health issues to treatment instead of jail or emergency departments.Programs and services at the Bridge Center for Hope will include crisis intervention and stabilization services, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and medical detoxification.
