Golden Oldies Cat Rescue re-homes cats 6 and older from Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them or who are at risk in shelters. We place these cats, who have no other options of a safe place to go, into temporary foster care. We then find them permanent loving homes, enriching the lives of both the cats and their new families. We also provide education to the general public. In 2025, we took in 29 cats and adopted out 29 cats. We also recruited 32 new volunteers in addition to 12 new foster homes. We have 95 active volunteers engaged with the community. We provided 75 informational tables in various location in Salinas and the Monterey Peninsula and held a volunteer appreciation event.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$118.2K
