Mission Statement
NEW ROAD MISSIONS' CHILDREN'S HOME IN SOUTH AFRICA RESCUES CHILDREN FROM THEIR POVERTY STRICKEN, ABUSIVE CIRCUMSTANCES, AND PROVIDES THEM WITH A SAFE HOME, NUTRITIOUS MEALS, AND A CHRISTIAN EDUCATION. WE PROVIDE ALL THIS IN A PROTECTED, ENCOURAGING, FUN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY CAN HEAL FROM THEIR TRAUMA, GROW IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS AND OTHERS, AND DREAM ABOUT THE FUTURE GOD HAS FOR THEM. THERE ARE TWO MAIN WAYS WE IMPACT THE CHILDREN AT OUR CHILDREN'S HOME. WE OPERATE HOUSES WITH 8-10 KIDS IN EACH, AND ONE HOUSE MOM. THIS ALLOWS US TO MODEL A HEALTHY FAMILY ENVIRONMENT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. AND WE HAVE SCHOOL ONSITE, WITH EDUCATION FROM PRE-SCHOOL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL WHERE THE STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT A BIBLICALLY BASED CURRICULUM, WITH CERTIFIED AND DEDICATED TEACHERS.
