DBCTX held its annual holiday party fundraiser, serving 77 total people from the community a holiday dinner prepared by a DeafBlind chef and seven staff members. 3 DeafBlind attended from out of state. DBCTX hosted seven social events during the year, providing 87 CoNavigators to support approximately 82 DeafBlind from Texas and other states. DBCTX held one CoNavigator training in an underserved community of Texas with 26 attendees. DBCTX hosted 4 retreats or camps during the year, serving 43 DeafBlind from Texas, other states, and 1 from Scotland. During these retreats, we trained 132 volunteers to work with DeafBlind in their community as CoNavigators.
