The Foundation organized Pacific Academy Foundation Orchestra in the summer of 2018. This Orchestra is to provide opportunities for talented young musicians to perform advanced music and reach their highest levels. There were about twenty five students in the orchestra. They conducted one major benefit concert and several free concerts to public. Through the weekly practices and meetings, the students have the opportunity to: Be coached and conducted by renowned Maestro Jorge Luis Uzctegui Attend masterclasses led by professional artists Participate in music competitions and music festivals Perform in a variety of concert venues Meet and perform with other young musicians and youth orchestras Be eligible for Pacific Academy Foundation leadership opportunities The total revenue associated with this service was $5,250 because the Orchestra didn't want to collect memebership fee during pandemic. PAFO collaborated with other nonprofit organization, such as National Arts Diversity Integration Association (NADIA) which was organized by a student to promote understanding among different cultures through music. The Foundation sponsored $2,000 to NADIA in November 2020. Also during pandemic the Foundation's conductor, coaches, and musicians did not get any compensations.
