Program 1 [2019]
Food Pantry-In 2019 we assisted approximately 150 families per month with vital resources through our food pantry. We continue to provide much needed mentoring and life skills training in order to assist families in crisis situation move forward towards success and sustainability. We also conducted several large community events that built a trust and relationship with residents while providing us a better opportunity to fully understand the underlying root causes that are holding individuals back from success. These large community events also allowed us to distribute resources such as clothing, food and household goods to people in need.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2019 – Dec 31, 2019Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$43.8KProgram 2 [2019]
The Baby Closet assisted approximately 55 mom's on a monthly basis in 2019. The mothers came to us with financial issues or needed assistance with skills they were lacking in regards to their children under the age of 5. We provided material resources that included things like diapers, formula, baby clothing, furniture and equipment. We also evaluated and addressed various educational needs of each mom and assisted them with mentoring and life skills education. The program also focused on events that would help build a better support system which helped the mom's be more successful with the care of their children.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2019 – Dec 31, 2019Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$7KProgram 3 [2019]
We provided life skills education classes for nearly 200 residents during the 2019 calendar year. These classes focused on specific needs that were uncovered as we assisted residents with other material goods or financial needs. The classes were highly successful with several of the residents moving on to being able to assist their neighbors, family members or other residents within our program by volunteering their new found skills to help others in similar situations. This has been a key area of the core strength of our organization which has allowed residents in crisis to move forward and become more self sufficient and successful in their personal lives.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2019 – Dec 31, 2019Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$5K
