Waypoint Youth and Community Center is an out of school time organization serving middle and high school students in West Newton Pa. Waypoint provides academic support, mentoring, leadership opportunities, community service, nutrition, social-emotional support. Waypoint also offers workforce readiness experiences through its student-operated cafe, The Outpost Eatery, which employs local youth and supports the organization's mission through hands-on job training. Year round programming includes 38 weeks of school programming, 9 weeks of summer programming while concurrently providing 29 weeks of professional internship and employment opportunities
