EACH CAMP HAD ITS OWN THEME THAT FOCUSES ON TEACHING KIDS ABOUT JAPANESE CULTURE THROUGH ENGAGING GAMES AND ACTIVITIES. ADDITIONALLY, KIZUNA HAS CONTINUED TO GROW OUR PREMIER HIGH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM, LEADERSHIP, BY EXPANDING THE PROGRAM FROM TWO TRACKS TO THREE. IN THE NEWLY ENVISIONED THIRD TRACK, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS LEARNED ABOUT MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP BY LEARNING ABOUT TOPICS INCLUDING EMPATHY, SELF AWARENESS, ACTIVISM, AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. KIZUNA HAS CONTINUED TO GROW IN THE NATIONAL SPHERE BY HOSTING WORKSHOPS IN SAN JOSE, SEATTLE, AND SALT LAKE CITY IN 2017-2018.
