Project Ropa Distribution Initiative
Since Project Ropa founding in 2016, roughly $5 million in products have been distributed. During our most recent fiscal year, Project Ropa secured $1.5 million in products and directly distributed $1.4 in products, at no charge to the homeless and households living in poverty in Los Angeles County and we distributed $202,417 in products at no charge to agencies/projects serving the homeless, youth and households living in poverty in Los Angeles County. Goods included thousands of pieces and pairs of new and gently used clothing, shoes and socks to men, women, children, toddlers and babies; thousands of personal hygiene products. These items assist the organizations in managing their operating costs and improving the quality of life for people experiencing homelessness and households experiencing poverty. Annually Project Ropa hosts 300-400 volunteers at our warehouse and direct service sites.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.6M
