  • Life Sentence Reform Advocacy

    No Exception paid for a Lobbyist $30,000 to lobby the legislature in support of the life sentence reformbill, SB561/HB1532, which would reduce the term of life sentence without parole in Tennessee from the current minimum of 51 years to a minimum of 25 years before parol eligiblity. No exception has been working on this bill since 2015 and was able to successfully get it passed through the State Senate., However, it did not pass through the State House.

  • Community Organizing and Support

    In coalition with partner performed state wide community organizing work. No exceptions inc, donated $20029 to Mercy Junction Peace and justice center and $9430 help inmates connect to the outside world and their families as well as educate ex-offenders with employement and educational opportunities.
