  • Spin Again Recovery Program

    Spin Again delivers a stationary bike to a person recovering from surgery. This is a new program that started in 2023. We are starting small with donated stationary bikes, but have already won grants in 2024 and bought new bikes to be able to help more people. We have helped 12 people recover from surgery and have a waiting list so will be able to help more when we can increase our stationary bikes.

  • Community Recycling Initiatives

    Public collection points for recyclable and reusable items. We collect stretchy plastic at a public shed that can we are collecting at our transfer station to recycle through NexTrex. We have collected enough to make 2 bales, which is a lot of plastic! We also collect used batteries at public points to keep them out of the trash, where they can start fires. We collect egg cartons and give them to our local food pantry for them to repackage bulk eggs for our local communities. We are always trying to think of creative ways to reduce our collective waste stream.

  • Pierre's Pedal Project

    Pierre's Pedal Project helps everyone regardless of age or income obtain a bicycle. We rescue bikes from the dump, fix them up and give them to local community members. In 2023, we gave away 165 bikes with the help of over 25 volunteers.
