United Healthcare for Rural Underserved has visited with health departments in rural areas of Georgia to raise awareness of and promote screening for breast, cervical and colon cancer. Wrightsville, GA, Augusta GA, Swainsboro GA, Savannah GA, Norcross GA all were visited by UHRU volunteers and members to promote greater healthcare. UHRU has also begun a program in India to promote health screenings.
