Youth Career and Financial Empowerment Programs
Teenprenuers: Our programs for teens and young adults, ages 14-19, and Opportunity Youth, ages 16 - 24, are offered during after school hours as a school to career enrichment program for students interested in careers in digital media and technology. In 2022, the funders included City of Hartford. Getting Ahead: Financial Empowerment Workshops: Our Getting Ahead workshop series is a financial literacy and financial empowerment program that helps individuals struggling with financial instability receive the knowledge, guidance, and resources they need to address their situations and take action. Sole Funder United Way. Annual Youth Business Summit: Now in its fifth year, the summitt showcases students businesses in a one day event that gives youth and teens an opportunity to present their ideas Shark Tank style before a panel of judges and compete for cash prizes and scholarships.
