Leaders in Tech Fellows Program
The Leaders in Tech Fellows Program is a 10-month program for a curated group of diverse leaders of high growth tech companies who are committed to building high-performing and culturally healthy organizations. Backed by a who s who of technology investors our mission is to foster an intimate community in which these leaders help each other thoughtfully address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in their businesses. The program starts with a weekend retreat then continues in small peer learning groups of founders and executives. Participants meet monthly for 1 year to engage in candid dialogue in a confidential setting where they can drop the salesmanship and openly speak. In the process participants forge deep relationships on which they can rely for the rest of their careers. World-class facilitators led by Dr. Carole Robin structure the conversations and help participants build the internal and interpersonal capacities that characterize high-performance leadership. Carole previously taught courses on interpersonal dynamics influence leadership and coaching at Stanford's Graduate School of Business and Stanford Law School. Most notably she led the legendary Interpersonal Dynamics Touchy Feely class - the most popular elective at the Stanford Business School for 45 years. Our community goals are to: Foster an intimate environment where tech leaders support each other in addressing their most pressing challenges Provide a venue for each participant to become more interpersonally influential and skilled as a leader Build a diverse community Build a values-aligned community of community-minded humanistic servant leaders In 2022 Leaders in Tech received over 550 nominations reviewed over 130 and admitted 24 Fellows. The cohort was accepted in August 2022 and the program ran September 2022-July 2023.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.6MLeaders in Tech Intensive Retreats
Leaders in Tech Intensive Retreats are 4-day intensive retreats that offers a taste of the Leaders in Tech Fellows program. This program is open to founders executives and venture capitalists. Similar to the Fellows program we carefully curate participants into small groups. Participants engage in candid dialogue in a confidential setting forge new relationships and learn to become more interpersonally influential and skilled. We offer this program at a variety of price points. The program is typically paid for as professional development expense by the participants' organizations. In keeping with our core values we also offer scholarships to qualified applicants who cannot afford the full price who tend to be disproportionately women and minorities. Support from our sponsors helps us keep both the Intensive Retreats and Fellows programs diverse and inclusive. In 2022 Leaders in Tech accepted applicants into 11 retreats for which we received over 250 applications and admitted 156 participants. Some of the participants in the retreats held in the early part of the year prepaid in 2021.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$12.6KFounders Peer Connection Program
Leaders in Tech designed a program to create opportunities for startup founders to connect and build trust among themselves. The program goal was to create both a foundational shared experience and learning among founders while at the same time give each founder choice in what workshop or peer group to attend and when to attend it based on their experience development need and schedule. The program consisted of a kickoff event and 6 mini-workshops for two founder peer groups. Throughout each workshop peer group suggestions were offered on how to apply what the founders learned within their companies so that they could continue the practice going forward. The program was designed for Greylock Partners a venture capital firm that wished to provide these resources and training to founders of companies in its portfolio. The firm paid for all of the costs of the program so that participants could attend at no cost.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
