Referrals, Support, and Advocacy Services
REFERRALS: Naaleh is here to help members of our community navigate the process of finding a mental health professional that best suits their needs. Naaleh receives over 1300 calls each year. Our referral staff identify and meet with dozens of mental health providers focusing on highly skilled clinicians who accommodate clients with both private insurance and Medicaid. ADVOCACY: Naaleh often assumes the role of liaison between mental health providers, clients, family members and clergy, in a supportive and sensitive way. Naaleh offers free cultural competency training to local providers and organizations, educating them on the unique needs of the Orthodox Jewish community. SUPPORT: Naaleh offers low to no-cost support groups, facilitated by community-based professionals that create a safe space for mutual understanding, support, and strength. Naaleh Counseling Solutions (NCS) was established in 2020. NCS is a mental health clinic, comprised of a group of licensed professionals from within the Jewish community who understand the inherent needs and intricacies of our clientele. NCS accepts both private insurances and Medicaid, removing financial barriers and allowing access to affordable quality care. NCS currently employs 15 Licensed Social Workers and a Psychologist. Naaleh works closely with local schools, providing on-site case management for jr high & high school students.
