YMCA Dance Education Program
YMCA Dance Program- Program that partners with the YMCA of Greenville SC Pickens County SC and the Triangle of NC to provide dance education. Students choose weekly classes between 7 different branches and register in quarters throughout the year. Adaptive Dance Program- made up of students with disabilities ranging from age 5 to older adults. This program is mostly funded by grants and foundations. CDC instructors work with students in Special Education classrooms on the the high school level go into day service adult programs work with disability specific therapy schools and create safe spaces for all individuals to come to a weekly class and participate in our annual Adaptive Christmas Flash Mob. After School Dance Program- CDC instructors travel to different schools to deliver dance education to elementary aged students.
