  • Therapeutic Horseback Riding for Children

    We provide adaptive, therapeutic horseback riding sessions to children with a variety of special needs including ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, ODD, autism, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, stroke survivors, Down Syndrome and many others. During sessions, the children do a variety of horsemanship activities that teach them teamwork, gross and fine motor skills, balance, trust, verbal and nonverbal communication skills and more. The children with special needs that we serve have a variety of outcomes achieve through our program including speaking their first word, increased confidence, improved core strength and balance, developing trust with other people and animals, growth in communication skills, reduced anxiety and many others. 100% of the children we serve have reported achieved goals and improved conditions since beginning programming with us.
