  • Economic Justice Fund Initiatives

    The Economic Justice Fund (EJF) is a mission-driven Community Development Financial Institution dedicated to providing fair, affordable financing and free credit-building services to empower borrowers to realize their dreams. In 2022, EJF made 25 affordable loans and provided 100% of its financing to low-, very-low-, and extremely-low-income borrowers. The loans were made through EJF's Lifeline Pandemic Recovery Initiative to support underserved borrowers struggling to recover from the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and lack access to fair and affordable financing, and through EJF's Equitable Opportunity Loan, which provides small-dollar loans to borrowers who have an urgent need for financing but are unable to access loans from traditional lenders.
