    Innovation Challenges: Think Beyond Plastic Foundation conducts innovation challenges to identify solutions to plastic pollution. In 2020, we developed the Agricultural Plastics Innovation Challenge, in partnership with Driscolls and other industry leaders. The Challenge with launch in 2021. We conducted an Innovation Challenge in partnership with Unilever to identify alternatives to plastic packaging.

    Innovation Accelerator: Accelerating innovation is essential to our mission. In 2020, we launched and trained a cohort of 20 innovators in sustainable chemistry, in partnership with the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative. In collaboration with UCSC, we produces the Blue Pioneers accelerator program, for leaders and innovators who start and grow organizations to overcome ocean conservation challenges around the world.

    Investor Forum: In 2020, we hosted (virtually) our 6th annual Sustainable Chemistry Investor Forum with participation of over 100 investors, and in collaboration with our partners at International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative. This forum explores the role of sustainable chemistry in innovations that achieve the SDGs, the role of frontier capital and blended financing mechanisms to secure the innovation pipeline, and the dynamics of the innovation eco-system.
