  • Halfway House for Prison Releasees

    Construct new "halfway house" for lodging and rehabilitating prison releasees in impoverished Curundu neighborhood of Panama City, Panama. Pastor Luis Altimorano, with a church serving that neighborhood, built a 24 bed facility with bathrooms and kitchen to offer food, shelter and counsel to prison parolees. This effort will offer a constructive path to rebuilding released prisoners lives. Because of rejection that prisoners often find upon release from their families and society in general, they often reoffend and end up right back in prison. This rehabilitation facility will help stem that.
