Application format and required materials

The Foundation's grant application is available at: https://www.capeandcoastbank.com/about-us/community-giving/ charitable-giving/ Applicants are required to attach additional supporting documentation, including: (1) A copy of 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax exemption letter from IRS; (2) A list of Board of Directors and their affiliations; (3) A project budget specific to the grant request, including how much has been raised to date; (4) A list of other funders including level of support; (5) A narrative case for support; (6) Any other supporting documentation that outlines the purpose of the request and the need(s) it meets in the community.

Submission deadlines
Quarter 1: December 15; Quarter 2: March 15; Quarter 3: June 15; Quarter 4: September 15
Any restrictions or limitations on awards, such as by geographical areas, charitable fields, or kinds of institutions

All applications: (1) must be from a 501(c)(3) non-profit located on Cape Cod, or directly benefiting Cape Codders with 100% of the monies received staying in Barnstable County; (2) must align with our mission, fall within one of our five Areas of Impact, and abide by our Types of Giving; (3) must meet a clearly defined need for which support is not available; and (4) must be a minimum of $2,500 for consideration. Grantees are only eligible to receive one grant per 12-month period. Grant recipients are welcome to apply 12 months after the date of grant approval. Approval of a request in one calendar year is not a guarantee that the same request will be approved the following year. If you were declined for a grant, you may re-apply during the same 12-month period as long as the request is for a different area of need.
