Our 2021 conference was successful, increasing the visibility of outdoor professionalism and providing an opportunity for professional development for 479 attendees (a WEA conference record). This included 130+ organizations and represented 6 countries. Despite the challenges a pandemic year can bring, we were able to offer at least 3 Outdoor Leadership Training Courses and offer a certificate of competion to 22 individuals. Our 2022 conference was successful, increasing the visibility of outdoor professionalism and providing an opportunity for professional development for over 300 in-person attendees. This included 90+ organizations and represented 3 countries. Despite the challenges another pandemic year can bring, we were able to host 92 participants on Outdoor Leadership Experience courses, 21 participants in Outdoor Leadership Training Courses, and offered a Certified Outdoor Educator course to 11 individuals.
